The Glénan archipelago, located 10 miles off the south coast of Finistère, visible from the Cornouaille bridge at low tide, is often referred to as “a corner of paradise”. It is comprised of eight main islands and many islets in the middle of a lagoon.
Years ago, there was just one single island. The archipelago is renowed for the clarity of its water and the whiteness of its sands. Which is where it gets its name “Breton Tahiti”.
It will take you just over an hour to reach this idyllic oasis departing from Kermor beach near the campsite or on the ferry « Vedettes de l'Odet ». Don’t miss out on a chance to walk in Robinson Crusoe’s footsteps, you won’t regret it !
