Le Hellès campsite is located in the village of Sainte Marine, 3km from Combrit. Sainte Marine harbour is an authentic, peaceful haven of peace. The harbour is located approximately 600m from the campsite. Combrit-Sainte Marine, on the southern coast of Finistère, is at the gates to what is known as “Pays Bigouden”, described by many as “Terre de Bretagne par excellence” (land of Brittany).
Combrit is a land of culture and tradition, with on one side the sea, the beautiful sandy beach and pretty harbour and on the other, the countryside and woods that line the banks of the Odet. Cornouaille bridge offers tourists a stunning view over the Odet, Bénodet on the left, Sainte Marine’s charming harbour nestled on the right and the Glénan islands as a backdrop. Located near the buzzing towns of Pont l’Abbé (6km) and Quimper (18km), Combrit is a charming family-friendly coastal resort set within a natural, protected environment… the ideal holiday destination. The harbour is brimming with bars and restaurants, a chapel and famous shelter for sailors which was renovated in 2009 and is now home to the museum created in Jacques de Thezac’s memory (themed exhibitions). The fort at Pointe de Combrit, houses exhibitions of paintings on the walls.
